Default BLOWN HID AFTERMARKET?

I am seeing more and more cars with one blown HID headlight. Aren't HID meant to last longer than regular halogen?

Also has anyone noticed multiple led cluster sidelights go wrong. They start blinking like cop lights.

Is it a result of cheap aftermarket tat?

Yes, there is a lot of cheap rubbish out there.

Worth buying something of high quality and proven.

Quality HIDs will outlast halogens many times over and can last the lifetime of the car.

We are running a new Group Buy on Slimline HIDs: https://www.scoobynet.com/group-buys...id-kit-gb.html

I had this problem with mine......

The light was just flickering/pulsing. P!ssed about for over two hours swapping the bulbs and ballast boxes about but the problem didn't shift when I moved things around, was always the passenger side light.

After two hours of messing about I then thought to check the fuse, and yep, it was blown!! Once fuse replaced light worked fine I would have thought the thing would have been completely dead as the fuse had gone but maybe the ballast box still sends some sort of power to the bulb???

Might be worth checking!
