Default Whats it worth??

a friend of mine has a 2004 (jap) sti, blue, 18k tax an tested, in very good condition, only mods are exhaust and filter as far as i know, the car is a cat D. How much should he be looking to advertise this car for?

advertised 2005 sti uk ppp same mileage on here for £9000

had no interest, went for £7500 in the end

people are not buying cars, good luck

cat d aint going to get alot of interest as theres so many cars on the market at moment u would have to be to buy a cat d unless it was next to nothing £££

well we on the subject of value whats mine worth as i am thinking of selling to help fund a bigger house

fssh up to 80k now on 96k good condition 4months tax 12months mot no know faults running approx 320bhp ive got all the original bits so could go back to standard ie wheels tdo4 ecu exhaust ect

cheers for the replies i will let him know, just to clarify the car is repaired, from a previous owner not it needs work now i should have said it like that

think badgerface meant that CAT D wouldnt interest many people on here if it was repaired, like he said its a buyers market at the moment so you can get something now that was a lot more expensive 6 months ago so why buy a cat D unless it was near enough being given away!

Worth about 55-65% of a non CAT-D equivalent, in the current climate £5-6k on a good day ?
