Totaly lost it!
Needed to go to the bank yesturday afternoon so i thoght id give the scoob a bit of fresh air, when i got to the bank i followed a zafira to the o/s kerb outside the bank into a space big enough for approx 6 cars with approx 2 cars gap between the zafira and the nearest car infront of him, he then selected reverse and proseeded to reverse back approx 8ft into the front of the scoob ignoring the sound of my horn as he did, i just saw red and let him know i wasnt pleased with what had occured, The cheeky **** then told me it was my fault for stopping behind him, and when i told him he abviously didnt look in his mirror he said it was broken, at that point the shouting got louder, the swearing more obsene, and physical contact was made, any way had a good look at the car and theres no sign of any damadge, so who thinks i over reacted by making contact with him and who would of done the same?

Just depends on how much in my face he was. Some people just blame others when it's clearly their fault. That make me mad as hell anyway.

I guess you're just waiting for the feds to turn up questioning you about an alleged assault charge now?
Have to admit, I think things might have got out of hand if I were in your situation. It has happened to me but the bloke fronted up a load of cash to save the insurance companies getting involved.

You should be thoroughly ashamed of what you did, and embarrassed that you have come on here to get support for your anti-social actions.

I'm no keyboard warrior so I'll not bang on about how I would have turned into Chuck Norris or something, but if someone touched my car like that and then did not apologise appropriately... well, I wouldn't be happy at all. Contact would have been made
I think you reacted naturally and like any man would. Roll on the PC pink crowd to denouce all forms of wickedness

I know its slightly off the general point of this topic but most cars have 3 mirrors was he saying they were all broken If they are all broken then his cars not road legal.
what a muppet reversing that far back and not looking behind. where did he get his license? did he collect 10 boxes of corn flakes and send off for it?
in your situation i would have done the same.
Iv been in a good few situations where people would have crashed into me due to reversing and clearly not looking at whats behind, luckily im still in the car so manage to reverse out of their way and as they pull away they have no idea what almost happened

I'm a big lad (6'4" and 18st) and not many people frighten me, but I wouldn't hit someone over a motoring incident. The police are red hot on 'road rage' and will come after you and try to make an 'example'.
A couple of years ago I came out of a shop in a side-street to find a young ****** of about 18-19 messing with my car. I'm pretty sure he was trying to break into it. I gave him a slap and banged his head against the corner of the roof and he ran off.
I had the police visit me the SAME DAY. Someone had seen what happened, took the lad's side and gave my number to the police, so I was potentially looking at an assault charge. In the end the ****** decided not to press charges and I was given a caution (which technically means I have a police record).
Also you never know who you're dealing with nowadays. I once had a row with a couple of young ******* over their behaviour (14-16 year olds), no hitting involved. Unfortunatley it turned out they were part of the travelling community (i.e. Pikeys) and they threatened to bring the whole extended family to come get me. Fortunately nothing happened, but I was a bit worried because they knew where I lived.
