does anyone have a H&S full decatt system fitted....how much did they charge to fit it??

Whenever I have bought something from H&S discounted or otherwise it has included fitting Uppipe may be different as it can take more time.

Ok....I've been told there's an £80.00 fitting charge for the full decatt system for a classic not including the up pipe??

I am happy to pay it as long as I know this is it normally applies, and I'm not getting fleeced!

Anyone had experience of this??

replies appriciated as car is booked for Monday!

Did you speak to Ian ? maybe its an SIDC member benefit?

Edit to say that Ian has always been really good on price and service and fleecing isn't something they do Just check what your understanding of the costs are with Ian @ H&S. Last time I had supply and fit was in 2006 so it maybe that costs have necessitated a labour charge. I did pay a fitting charge when I had my old centre pipe put on the new STi although originally is was done inclusive of the cost of the part

Other option is to get them to fit the DP and do the centre and BB yourself

I was charged £25 for the fitting of a centre pipe and backbox @ H&S- £80 is good if its the whole lot!

I get charged £50 just for the downpipe come MOT time to be swapped at another garage.
