Hi all,
I've seen a pic of an Impreza with a real carbon roof in progress on here, but wondered if anyone went for the cheaper, easier, reversible, heavier(!) version of a carbon look vinyl roof..?
The word vinyl roof makes me think "Austin Princess", but I mean the vinyl like they use for car wraps etc. It seems they do some ace colours and designs and I rather fancied the carbon look for the roof of my crystal grey hawkeye.
Anyone done it..? Any pics anywhere..? Or am I being stoopid..?

I think that tonight's JD's have got the better of you here.
In your defence, you did notice it would add weight (Up high, albeit minimal) and make absolutely no performance gains.
Money better spent under the bonnet/wheel arches maybe?

Remember these being popular in the max power world about 4 years ago although i seem to remember the sealant or glue causing problems with the finish, these might have now been solved though. If the finish is spot on i would definatley have one, goes well with a carbon boot and bonnet
