Hmmm, Varied comments, Most of those 900 miles are Motorway which are no fun at all. Hopefully will have the use of another car soon for a couple of days a week, don't want to kill my pride and joy!!!

400 km (about 240 miles) per week. I was a little concerned over the K's building up on my new engine but my boss has just given me a shiny new Toyota HiLux V6 4ltr......and a credit card to fill it with juice......which is just as well as it gets through about $100/week!!!
I used to think $1.10/litre was cheap, now it's $1.35 (about 65p)......bloody rip-off!!!

Some of the mileages (the low ones!) are just plain daft. Why tax, insure, and service a car to leave it depreciating in the garage? The cost per mile must be enormous. If you're only going to drive it once a month then why not hire one? Potentially a different car every time or you could spend more money on the car you spend 99% of your time driving. I appreciate all the usual arguments about beaters and weekend cars, but surely there comes a point where basically never using it becomes the overwhelming argument?
