Default JAE - More Scoobies in the Carpark than in the Show area.

Hi guys,

I went along to JAE today, and it wasn't a bad little show.

Not many traders there, no autojumble, keep me in the green for a change. Loads of cars, too few good examples and only 5 Impreza on the whole site.

There were more Imprezas in the car park area.

Is everyone going tomorrow, or has it been ignored??

It's being ignored.

1) It's in a silly place.

2) It's in a bad place

3) It's the McRae Gathering.

1) Silly Place, erm Mersea is really nice.
2) Bad place, erm no swimming pool by the beach, golf course, kids play area, pubs on the beach. What more do you want.
3) Fair point.

Go and see it by all means, but don't expect too many Imprezas. And don't expect to be blown away. Take your swmming kit and a few beers and have a muck about on the beach.

I'm hiping the fireworks tonight, are going to be good.

Most of the Essex Scoobs that normally frequent JAE will be at the McRae gathering tomorrow.

the problem was they asked for ideas on where to hold the show, everyone chipped in with some good ideas, then they just went and chose mersey island. ive been to the last 3 jae's and at petebrough it was a great show.

Went on Sunday, I was only there for about 2hr tops, thought it was rubbish. Skylines were the best thing, and some nice Evos, that was it.

Thank god I didnt travel hours to get there. Only good thing was that we didnt pay for some reason, maybe cos it was the wind down day, i dont know!.

I agree mate, also went today.
Its the worst JAE ever.
10 trade stands if that, the standard of cars on show was crap.
Only good part of the day was the weather and a few birds to look at.
Please please please change it back to Billing or Peterbrough. I think the location has put a few people off tbh.

I went friday night, camped with the Honda Type R owners site as a friend was showing. Didn't find it too bad at all.... picked a time attack flag under the cover of dark
