Jesus that's a lot of scoobies, must have really freaked people out on the roads.
How many in total anyway, that has to be the largest subaru convoy or any car for that matter.

Well done to the OP for posting all those pics.
I Eventually found my car an STi Version V RA Ltd, flanked by a P1 and a 22B and my mates Bugeye STi - I doubt that line up will never be seen together ever again!
Its was certainly something else to witness and to be a part of the convoy from Lanark.
We did a total of almost 700miles on Saturday and the first time my car had been on the road in a year!!
I have to admit it was quite emotional on the road from Lanark to the M74 knowing we were in Colin's back yard. I never expected to see all the well wishers on the route waving and cheering us all on, it was certainly something special - and well done to all those who took the time to make the banners and turn out to see the convoy.
RIP Colin McRae, you clearly touched many many hearts and will never be forgotten.
Cheers
Rob

Hi Guys,
Me in my 08 STi and my mate Mucky in his GB270 attended the McRae Gathering on Saturday.
Unfortunately we couldn't do the whole event but the meet in Lanark and convoying down the M74 was well worth it especially given the amount of folk who turned out on route to see us all.
Some pics here - McRae Gathering - a set on Flickr
I was about 20 from the front of the convoy which was superb! The first part of the run to the M74 was very emotion especially (as it was said above) that we were in Colin's and my back yard. Seeing Jimmy parked up at the Douglas junction really hit home that we'd all lost a idol, but he'd lost his boy (and grandson).
Thanks to everyone who helped make this unforgetable!
Cheers.
