Question Advice on selling a car please

Hi i am selling my car and the bloke is coming to pick it up tonight, its not my scooby btw

He is paying cash in total and taking the car straight away.

My question is what do i write on a reciept, i know sold as seen is a good idea?

Write the receipt out twice.. both of you sign both copies, so you've each got identical copies with the other persons signature on it.

I always put the time of the sale as well as the date... just in case they get a speeding ticket an hour later. May sound petty, but you dont want the argument of who owned the car at the time if it did happen. (It also covers them in case you got done earlier in the day!)

Nice one Gav, i've written it out twice and good idea about the time, i didn't think about that.
