Warranty.

Is it not, if it's come from Malta or similar, uk Subaru dealers won't honour the warranty?

Also underseal. Don't cars from warmer countries not have underseal? Or have I just made that up?

You have to registar the car with Subaru UK to get the warranty.

Subaru cars sold in the EU come with the three-year Pan-European warranty. This is valid in all EU countries (including UK of course), you don't have to register the car with Subaru UK but you can do if you want, it may make life a little easier in the event of claim. The Pan-Euro warranty offers similar cover to UK-supplied cars, but without roadside breakdown assistance. Just keep the service book stamped up (don't forget the 1000-mile service) and you're covered.

I'd add Gap Insurance for about £90 on-line.

DON'T take the dealer's expensive version that will be £300 if you're lucky and £500 if not.

They make more money from the finance, insurance and other add-ons than they do from the actual car!

Kersh

Car is great but ABN were hopeless from start to finish. The ££££ saving attracted me but i would never go back due to a whole catalogue of poor service issues.

If you want some examples let me know and i will PM you.

Can you expand on your problems with Allbrandsnew (here or PM me)? I bought from them last year and they were 'spot on', very helpful and everything went as it should. I'd use them again. I didn't have any service work done there though, all service has been at the main dealer.
