subaru owners wearing subaru coats, hats etc

I'm proud to wear my Subaru polo shirt. It shows people that you don't drive a run of the mill boring car, but I only really wear it at Subaru events along with most other people.

Can't understand when football thugs wear their club shirts and nobody bats an eye, but if your a law biding person wearing a Subaru item of clothing your labelled as some sort of sado with no life.
Bit strange really, but so is human nature and peoples perceptions.

Try driving an old french hot hatch and clambering out of it wearing your only jacket - a Subaru fleece
Especially yesterday when it was pising it down and I had my Subaru Swedish rally team hat on too
Get some right funny looks
(But I'm poor so can't afford another jacket currently - and paid £35 off a member on here to buy it, so it WILL be worn LOL)

i bought a Sparco Scooby jacket...cost a fortune , it has Burns on the back...looked amazing but just cant face wearing it whilst driving the car. I think i would look way too naff. Shame as the jacket is the nuts. I dont think i could even wear a Scooby hat and drive the car if the truth be told.

I can't believe some people on here worry so much about what others think of them
Sod that, if people judge me for wearing a Subaru jacket or my favourite football teams shirt, then I don't particularly want to socialise with them types anyway...

Why are we being so negative??
Think about it>>>>
Males & Females wear BMW, Ferrari Stuff, Rolex, TAg Heuer, Guci, etc etc
Police Sunspecs>>>>>>>>>>>>> the list goes on and on.
Supermarket/Shop Bags, Sainsbury, Tesco, Waitrose, Lidl.
And think about it a bit more>>> What about yer Kids??
I can't help but notice Toddlers dressed up wit Little Persons Designe Labels etc.
Whether we like it or not, Brands worn by Joe Public in whatever foremat, are here to stay.

Lots of people who don't own a Subaru wear these items at Rally's and some when not at events, they don't get shot down or called 'nerds' etc. They're supporters!! The only difference is we drive them

many football teams rely on shirt sales to keep them in buisness, you buying one is because you love the club and want everyone to know your proud to support them and usually for life, now i'm not saying everyone but people who buy subaru shirts get them because they drive one not because they watch rallying every week go to rallys etc, can anyone tell me why people do buy subaru shirts if its not say 'i drive one'.
Aaron
P.s i'm not saying there is anything wrong with wearing them just its different to supporting a football club.

I've got a Subaru full-length coat, which I used to wear during the winter (was actually quite warm and waterproof!)
I last wore it to the Wales WRC a couple of years ago. I've got a different car now (but don't have any marque-related clothing), so the coat gets used for taking the dogs for a walk!!

On a rally i could see the point. Day to day - tends to be a bit gaudy i think. I've got a Kawasaki Racing shirt (actually wore it at the McRae Gathering) but i've also got a Kawasaki coat i never actually wear because it is simply too bright for each day.
I think i'd feel the same with the car. a t-shirt - ok the full on crew member look (or look like a dealer) wih the coat etc... bit ott.
