How Old and how many miles ??
Thought it might be interesting for people to list the age of their car and how many miles they have done, be interesting to compare the garaged weekend toys from the everyday drivers, and to see just how long these cars last for, I've been told by my local dealer that a guy part exchanged a classic scoob with 180,000 on the clock!
Anyway I'll start
55reg - 30,000

MY00 with a tad over 100200. Full history.
I've put 40000 on it in the past two years as it was my daily driver. Got a new car now so its elevated to my weekend toy.
It went over the 100k mark two weeks ago.

Mine is an STi 6, has had no expense spared on the up keep and have every service receipt since new. Kept reasonably standard aside from remap, exhaust, fuel pump. Lasted 8 years and got to 94,000 miles before the engine went without warning. Did a couple of scoobyshootouts in it, but always looked after it and ran it on Tesco 99 or Shell Super.
Just been rebuilt, so I'm now up for another 94k miles
It does seem to me that the UK cars (classics at least) last much longer than the imports. Now I know plenty of people import them with no idea they need to be remapped. But the Turbo 2000s seem to be rock solid with much higher mileage than the STis. Stands to reason I suppose given the difference in power and strain on the engine.
