I take it that you are a Non Smoker. Yes the "fogging" on the inside of the front screen is formaldehyde fogging. It occurs mainly in new cars for the first six months or so and also in a lot of other cars that have air con or auto climate control where some of the air is directed to the windscreen.
If you have air con then change the setting so as not to blow on the screen. U should not need it a air con will remove condensation from the air anyway.
To clean you are best of using an alcohol based glass cleaner and newspaper. Most people who have seen me do their cars are a quite amazed as to how clean they are when done this way.
The newspaper acts as a great cloth and is very absorbant and at the same time being lint free. Also the chemicals in the paper and print act as a secondary cleaner.
If the windolene u are using is a clear liquid then use paper as follows: spray liquid onto screen. with a bit of newpaper scrunched up spread the windolene around say half the sreen. Then immediately with another bit of newspaper scrunched up, vigoursly buff b4 the product dries. You should then have clean glass.
If you are using the old creame version (purple) this is no good as it is too chalky and lleaves residue.
If u need some glass cleaner I'd be happy to sort you out some. Either email me or call me 07966 713177
Also get into the habit of cleaning your glass weekly. Clear vision equals safer driving!!!!!!
Hope this helps
