Default which turbo please? Which injectors? Regards.

Hi everyone. Ive just recieved a TD05-20G turbo but i ordered a VF34. I can either send it back or keep it. Which turbo is better for my needs? I have a 1998 S reg U.K turbo 2000. I have the followig mods already-

Pipercross Induction kit
De-cat exhaust
Stainless headers and up pipe
Boost valve running 15psi
Front mount intercooler
Walbro 255 fuel pump
Iridium plugs
Magnecor HT leads

I am also getting uprated injectors before i go for a Re-map. 550cc ???

cheers mate! whats the spool up time like on the 20G because the VF34 is meant to be really quick spool up isnt it? does the vf34 run out of puff further up the rev range because it spools up so quick?

Vf34 will spool quicker than a 20G, the vf34 will normally make around 330-350bhp and the 20G will make around 360-390bhp, the 20G is more likely to break your gearbox as it will make more mid range torque.
Vf34 won't run out of puff until the redline on 2.0 UK Turbo.

20g will make full boost around 3300rpm and be as close to a 400bhp turbo as you can get the vf34 will probs max out around 360bhp ish

I want to achieve maximum bhp but without breaking things or melting pistons. lol. Would a smaller TD05 be better than a 20G? 16G pehaps?

16g still breaks gearboxes
