Just buy it eBay cant do anything about you not paying and leaving bad feedback if you have the HPI to prove it.
Did you question the seller about it??

This rubbish of course, if you could be taken to court over breach of promise then Id be married by now!

More seriously, a trader would do well to be less arsey when he is selling a ABI recorded vehicle withoutdeclaring its full history.

its lucky its been in this counrty a few yrs as i couldnt hpi mine as it was a fresh import, BIMTA was no good either as that took 2 weeks for the full info to come through.

as said, camera never lies huh !?!???

Did you see any defects when you viewed it or did you just hpi it before viewing ?

hey all

thats my impreza on ebey and a didnt know it was on the hpi when i took it in p/x fair enough i have relisted it and forgot to update but will do it now,

oh also the cars never had a colour change!!!! it was an error when brought into the country it was registered as blue and when tried to be changed at dvla the said its had a colour change rather than correcting there mistake and this can be checked

also fair enough its on the list but for the money i want for it it could be broke into more so before people go getting on there high horse over stuff try lookin into things first i only want just over the rebuild money!! and if you look through the feedback you will see cars ive previously had that are on hpi register its stated in the advert

cheers to the lad that give me the heads up

Isn't it impossible to register a Version 6 STi because of the lack of a model report...... the loopholes having being closed a while ago

.....just hanging around for GC8 to jump in with a final answer LOL

Hi matey, the only reason i have brought this up on here ,as i have seen you have re-listed the add without mentioning its a cat-d when i contactaed you and told you this ,tbh i was really gutted as i was looking forward to owning this car, fair enough you said you never hpi checked the car but now you know i feel its only fair you declare this in the ad,it will still sell as cat-d, its only panel damage but you need to be honest and i was prepared to give you my P1 which i valued at £8k so to me i would of been stung, when its prob only worth £4-5k on a cat-d.
At least your a friendly guy and not an ****

what you mean "cough" model report "cough" legit import?

you can make comments like that without thinkin first " if its been a right off obviously its been registered, been trough insurance and through salvage companys so its obviously legit or it would of been sold on again would it?????????

Just an observation really...

When I went to have my bugeye Mapped by Bob Rawle he had an STi ver 5 on his drive which looked pretty mean and I looked into buying the later Version 6.

I was told that these could not be put on the road in the UK as the disabled loophole had been closed and there was no available model report available for an EVSA.

There are similar problems for people trying to get imported cars like the S202 onto UK roads.

I wasn't having a dig.......just curious

Registered in 2003 before the closing of the "disabled" loophole.

I almost swapped my old Impreza for a V6 STI RA. It was in Cardiff and from a distance it was obivous the front end had been chewed up in the past.

A few months later I saw the same car in an Import dealers all the way up in Bradford. Someone had had a go a tidying it up but it was still nacked.

Its a shame with these STI RAs because most tend to have visited scenery and its hard to find a truely straight one.
