Hi

I was just wondering how many of you would be interested in a Performance Analysis Session of your cars abilities?

I am considering putting these events on a monthly basis at Croft Race Track in North Yorkshire.

Each participants car will be configured into our machine and would have either the track or the airstrip to our disposal to collate information on:

G force
G Circle
Quarter Mile Timing
0-60 Runs
30-50 Runs
Braking Distances
Time over a distance
Power

Each participant would have data print outs sent to them after watching the data being logged on a computer after the session.

These sessions are accurate within 1% and as they are in a controlled environment would be the ideal opportunity to safely test your cars abilities and rate any tuning equipment.

This idea is under development and consideration and I would really appreciate any feedback.

Please keep an eye on my site for further news, and reply to this thread.

Thank you!

Well that died a death even before we got it started!!!

Come on please, someone must have something to say on the matter?

A chance to measure, accurately, the ability of your car and its current set up, on a RACE TRACK???

Thanks lads!

Price wise I am aiming to work out some sort of deal that would make sure it is of excellent value, the sessions will not be over 1.5 hours, and the devices we use to measure data are relatively inexpensive but very accurate too.

The costs to you and me are driven down to a bare minimum. but will definately be worth it.

I'll keep you informed once I finalise things. The details will be going up on my site shortly.

I'll be up for that. Only got a stanard sport with no mods but just the same sounds fun and I have family just round the corner in Darlington.

Jamies,

As long as it's something better than the cheapo accelerometers you can get, something like the Racelogi GPS stuff which isn't too pricey, I'd be interested with my future car.

Definitely interested but as has been said above then price and dates are the main yes/no decider.

Hi Jamie,

I was trying to find someone doing some driver training up near Leeds, I found a guy who could do skid training etc, but he needs a venue up North, maybe you could combine with him to offer training???

The info on his stuff is here:

http://bbs.sidc.co.uk/messageview.cfm?catid=10&threadid=863

I'd be more interested in something like that at Croft rather than performance measurement.

regards,

greg
