Default Anybody had dealings with JAP Performance in Bradford?

Hi I'm a newbie here.....bit of info if you don't mind?

Has anybody had dealings with JAP Performance in Bradford? I've seen a motor they have for sale and I'm curious to know if anybody has bought from them before and what the experience was like?

Cheers mate!

I'm toying with the idea of buying a car off 'em but it's a long way for me to go!

Can you not get as much info as humanly possible via email? then only make the trip if the emails make sense? If its worth it, its worth it - if u know what I mean.

Do as much homework as you can! As someone that has worked in Bradford and the surrounding are (keighley) be absolutely sure what you are getting in too, I don't know the garage that you have seen the car at and could be completely sound, I don't want to sound negative but just search Keighley on here and it will bring all sorts of results up!

Cheers Slipstream......that's what I wanted, someone who has dealt with him!

It's about a 4 hour journey for me up there so I don't really want to do it if there is a chance the guys a bit shady!

I have searched quite a bit tonight and read some stuff about a dodgy garage in Keighley. But I think this guy in Bradford has sold a few motors to 'forumfolk' with no complaints.

I think this is the guy I bought a Blitz exhaust off - if it is I have no complaints whatsoever. Super efficient service and a nice price.

I got the Mrs her scoob from there (knowing many people who have already bought from them)... Which is mint!!! Ive had loads of compliments on the condition of the car, even a scooby specialist praising it ..... And if your a good barterer you'd be surprised at what you can get knocked off there!!

Just be really picky and take your time to look around the car.. Look for boot leaks, wear on seat anything you can mention.. I did.. Must of been looking over our for more than 30/40 mins just pointing minor stuff out.. Being REALLY picky And say cash.. Cash is always better at getting more dosh knocked off..

Nice people.. Very truthful.. Haven't really got a bad thing to say about them..

I have passed on the word to a few people and they bought other cars of them.. at good prices.. They are also very happy..

just be careful in bradford- some dodgy folk about that spoil it for the rest.

if opthers on here can recommend, thats a start

after all- where else can proudly boast 60% of drivers in certain inner city areas have no insurance.

I travelled to buy a car from them (from Inverness) as have mates and all have got a excellent condition cars with all the correct import documentation & paperwork. The place has high quality stock and the owner is easy to deal with, deffinately worth a visit.

As for the Keighley comments, what do they relate to this dealer? Jap Performance? Is the assumption that everyone in this area sells crap cars based on the feedback of one place? Ludicrous. You dont buy a car from any garage be it local, national, importers or otherwise without research, go with open eyes, ask the right questions.

The problem is that with some of the importers in that area, a car that is on one company website can quite often pop up on another.

I've seen poor cars at two places in that area - both of which I have seen cars on both websites. I've also been told complete lies by another car company in that area who also have a rolling road.

So although I'm sure there are good places to go to it makes the ability to trust a car from that area much harder.
