I took my 3 year old son in the Scoob and we managed to get right to the front of the crowd for when the cars arrived at the market square. He was chuffed to receive a signed poster from the LMP Lola-MG driver. We had no idea who the guy was though!

That red slab car (5 photos up from the bottom of cossie-nutter's selection) is a 1977 T492 Sports 2000 and is the predecessor to the similar-looking 1980 T590 Sports 2000 that my family had for many years as a road-registered car. It was mental.

This is a better photo of the T492 in Huntingdon from the Lola Heritage website. Imagine driving something like that legally down your local High Street and out onto the open road!
