Default You lucky lucky people in Loughborough

Evening all

Just spent the weekend with wife + little menace at the in laws and decided to take the scooby up so I could have a blast around the back roads when my wife's family hoards descend to see the little one.

Headed out around Bradgate park - fanastic! A nice hily long straight heading away from town and then lots of twisty turny lanes all at national speed limit so no need to drive at licence losing speeds.

If only there were roads like that around Watford

That road is typical of other roads in the area - could be quick and has nice turns but is speed-camera-tastic and has mostly been dropped to a 40 zone.

Damn kids/cyclists/pedestrians/speed cameras/police/local council/government/idiots in subarus who like driving them/political correctness gone mad (delete as appropriate)

The closest fun roads I know are towards Whipsnade - national speed limit country roads. Quiet, twisty turny and no need to drive fast(i.e. break the speed limit)/like a fool to enjoy them. Unfortunately you've gotta drive a good 30-40 mins to get there
