Horrid Cars

I have had the following mods.

Full decat (up pipe, down pipe etc)
New headers-(shiny ones)
Uprated fuel pump
Green panel filter
EcuTek re-map.

Happy with it all, and its at 280bhp.

BUT, when the weathers cold, I can feel the boost holding back, in waves....hard to describe really. It pulls hard, then eases off ever so slightly, then hard. It smooth and not juddering and sometimes its just fine.
Its just a tad irritating and what I wanted to ask you gurus is, is there anything that can be done?

Have you had a 3 port boost controller fitted?

I had a similar problem a few years ago after a EcuTek remap. The turbo seemed to "surge" in waves.

Took it back to Rich at Powerstation and a 3 port later and bingo!

No more surging.
