Much better than a harness for most people in most circumstances. I enthusiastically encourage people to buy/use them.

A much better option than harnesses in a road car- secures at waist level but doesn't pin your upper torso in the event of an accident.

When driving in a thickish coat it can be easy to forget to tension the lap belt! worth getting, and SIDC flog them at a discount, if you're a member.

Are these safe to use everyday or are they just for track use? The seats in my MY09 do not hold at all.

Cg-lock use on roads
Hi!
Yes the device is excellent for everyday driving... The tension on the lapbelt is infinitely variable... So you can adjust to needs...

I've had 1 for about 3 years now, would deffo recommend using it, really keeps you in place, especially if you have leather seats

Strap you in nice, I have leather and with NewAge seats being a bit rubbish you need all the hold you can get.
