I had to find the kerb weight of my car, max towing weight and max weight on both axles for the French import documents (also had to make a plaque with this on) and I couldn't find anything for the JDM cars. Loads of info for US or UK but not JDM
I used the UK spec info and they haven’t questioned it yet

Go anyway, Steve.

That way, if it makes any more power, I can feel more smug.

You can't feel more smug micky as it was only running 450bhp at scoobyshootout, I had further mapping after that event to get it to 490bhp and it still requires more mapping to get the best from the turbo

Forget the peak figures..... let's see what the area under the curve is like.

Don't you start with curves and figures and stuff Shaun. You wouldn't race me at SSO.

Plus I don't understand all this curve stuff.

Here you go, everytime Pat turned the boost up to 2 bar the car lost power on both gt30 and 35r so it has to be the STI 5 heads at their limit. Sooner they are off the better we will compare proper power figures when my heads are swapped and I have no excuses :

Micky,
Get £200 pound on the finish line and I will race you down the drag strip at any event you wish! You name the venue and I will be there.

Now that has shut him up, let's get back to some real conversation....

Steve,
Are you on a .62 housing for that RR run?

yes its the smallest housing as I was trying to get rid of some lag and the turbo should be good for 550bhp on pump fuel ?? I only changed from the gt30 incase that was causing the low power but it was the same on the gt35

Are you gonna put that same £200 bet with me

Steve,
The question is... WOULD YOU!

Are you sure it is not the exhaust housing. Yours is doing exactly the same as my previous turbo did. Did not matter what we upped the boost to at the top end over about 1.6bar it did not make anymore power, and more or less flat lined from about 6k. Now, I know for certain is it nothing to do with my heads or cams. New turbo has a bigger housing, so hoping this will solve that issue.

It didn't solve mine but I hope it sorts yours. Its annoying that gt35r chokes getting over 1.5bar. If you find out what your problem is tell me as I will get it checked out on mine. I even thought it could be to do with the external wastegate??? Still the above isn't too bad a figure for 1.5bar ??

You put the 200 notes down and I'll try not to embarrass you. I'll try and stay close enough that I can still see you in my wing mirror.
