What supporting mods have you got then?

He did mine a while back but I seem to have lost most of the pops even though decatted (running way rich previously) But i miss them!

may I be rude enough to ask a ball park figure (£££) of this remap? I've got the gear ready on my blob - just looking at a potential JGM remap.

standard it will pop due to overfuelling, I can make it pop by slightly altering overrun fuelling and ignition..

drop me a line and next time I am in the area I'll alter the map and reload it with pops and bangs enabled.. it's not something I always do unless asked etc..

My little one loves the pops and bangs Si. When ever he is even close to my car without the engine on he points at the exhaust and says "brum,brum.bang.bang....pop" (not always in that order but you get the idea).

Wiley, enjoy the NEW car buddy. Simon is a legend and knows his stuff.

I've just been through similar procedure as you're looking to do, although I have a VF35 fitted and a 2.5" bore exhaust with a sports cat. Bob Rawle mapped my car, dyno dash came out at 344/343!!!! I appreciate those figs are optimistic and will be lower on a RR but compared to the 270ish I had before the car is completely transformed.

When Bob filled out his spec sheet on my car he wrote down 505 for the injectors if that helps.

You wont need 740's to get mid 300's but will be useful if you're planning bigger power later on

Simon,

Does overfuelling it for the pops & bangs have any horrid effects on the engine etc??

no..

the fuelling it not rich enough to cause any issue..

if you read back through myths in time about dump to atmosphere dumpvalves people will claim they have horrid effects on the enigne.. the only time they do is when they leak on part throttle

yes plus some form of ignition.... although overfuelling brings in ideas of running rich all the time when we are only meaning fuel on lift off..

Yes..

the map on the ecu cannot be read off.. but a new one loaded.. I tend to start a fresh anyway so it is no issue, and obviously it has the licence already
