Default Help Needed !!!

Hi I own a Bug Eye STI NB-R, basically a STI with paddle shift and trip box. Im disabled so the only way to get the speed that I wanted and the car that I loved.

Any way, the only thing I havenoticed wrong with my car is stopping, so Ive made the choice to upgrade my brakes, Ive bought some STI brembos, they are the black ones for the bug Ive been told by the seller.

My question is what size wheels will I require and what size disks, Ive currently got STI 17" wheels and the car has full STI disks and four pot STI calipers on at the moment.

All advise is welcome.

Thanks

Gary

If your STi wheels are the type with 'notches' on the rim inbetween the spokes, then they will have the correct spoke design to fit over the brembo's.

If they are plain between the spokes then I believe there are issues (unless spacers are used), only with the fronts though.

I remember reading something about the rear calipers and fitting issues but I'm not sure if that is do with older models (ie classics).

By the way, welcome to the forum

Hi the wheels are the ones with the slit between the spokes, and thanks for your warm welcome.

Yep, there are twin spokes, but between these pairs, should be a 'notch' on the rim. Difficult to explain without pics which I don't have but do a search for 'show us your brembos' and some should come up. The older STi rims without notches won't go over the front brembos
