Holy sh*t!
Looks like it's been repaired very well but would like to see the in depth pics or repair job! (Are they the old pics or the now pics after it's been fixed?)
Can't Piston heads remove this as the person is not being honest ?

The damage on that car was so bad that Powerstation were origionaly going to built it up into a race car but on inspection it was going to cost to much to repair not worth there while but on saying that the car was back on the road in 6 weeks,as i said in an earlier post the damage underneath was severe the car from what I have seen has done the rounds and more than likely the new owner doesnt even know about its history which is a shame and to sound off abit it might even been cloned using a nicked car.

the damage doesnt look too bad to me. nothing a good bodyshop wont be able to sort out anyway. it certainly wouldnt put me off the car. damage always looks worse with all the panels bent out of shape. lol. once they strip all the damaged panels off it wont be too bad.

still doesn't make it right that it's being sold with no mention of damage! you'd be sick if you bought it, then came on here and seen the pics!

The fact also remains that it's a Spec C Type-RA with bits on it that standard Spec C's don't have. I know for a fact that it has not been repaired using those original bits.

Sorry to say, but that car would be a write off, its been knocked back about 12 inches on the front, your going to have chassis damage on that, and if the chassis is twisted, so will the shell.
I had a pug 306 GTI with front damage (i was in it at the time 11 years ago) which had less damage than that, it just made it in under 8k to repair, 11 years ago! and they replaced the chassis on that (and the parts were cheaper on a pug than scoob).
Bet if you look closely enough, half the parts are not off a spec c (just look at the front bumper, its off a uk car) so that would include the cooling system and probably glass/body panels (plus this one also had rear damage if i remember) so not cheap to fix.

Maybe some of you know more than is obvious by reading this but unless the car is fully inspected pictures like this dont actually mean alot!!!
I agree with what everyone says about that the advert should state it has been damaged repaired, but what if this person wasnt aware? its possible....how many cars get bought and sold without having an HPI check etc?
And the fact that its said that this wasnt going to be financially viable to repair is interesting....here it is being sold repaired!
Im in one of those moods and going o play devils advocate here....I agree whole heartidly with everyones comments that it should be clear the history on this car and that damaged repairables are not always repaired to the standards we would all expect. At the moment I see no evidence that this car is not

It must have been such a good repair that he didnt want to do more than 500 miles in his 6 months of ownership
This car sold on ebay for about 8.5k, do you think they may have understood that for 14k under the going rate there may be something a little wrong?
