I would like some advice pelase. I am looking at purchasing an Impreza and am going to see a 2000 V Reg SUBARU IMPREZA WRX RA.

The spec is 5 door, approx 70K milage, manual, with all the standard features + uprated turbo derestricted decatted and tuned by Prodive.

What I want to know is what should I be looking out for in regards to any known problems with this model.

5 door would suggest a wagon (estate) and an RA would be a saloon.

I would question what "Uprated turbo" means. Derestricted I would assume means the 112mph limiter has been bypassed or whatever you have to do. Decatted would mean no catalytic converters which may cause you a problem come MOT time if there are none at all.

And finally "Tuned by prodrive" is rubbish. An RA is an import and would be highly unlikely to come into contact with anything from Prodrive.
