Damn shame
I was recently told by a former keeper my P1 'could' have been driven by RB between stages, it was registered to Prodrive as the first keeper and the rumors were it was his poule car.
Wish I could verify it, he was a great man.

3 years!
Nothing to add, just that it was great seeing him through the stages in the Classic Impreza.
George Best, when I was a boy I caught the ball when it went out of play during an FA Cup match - he came and took it off me and winked - I was beside myself with excitement!
Stuff of legends.

RIP Richard.
I followed Richard after seeing him in Dyfnant at 7 o'clock in the morning on the RAC rally in the early 1990s. It was his first RAC rally in a Gp A Pug 309 - the reward for winning that year's 205 challenge cup.
While Colin was always flamboyant in his driving style, Richard was far more calculated, and probably one of the first of the 'new breed' who would be suited to the WRC cars of the late 1990's - early 2000's. Besides, Colin always got the limelight, but I was sure that one day Richard would win the World Rally title! I'm sure he was capable of winning more, but we shall never know.....
Scary thing is, my younger brother was diagnosed with the same form of brain tumor earlier this year. Fortunately for us, medicine has moved on, and 8 months later, he appears to be clear. It's a shame Richard was not so fortunate.
