docjock, the truth is far worse - I am totally serious. Hopefully some at least are open to alternative views. There is no need for you to take offence at anything I say. I put a post in the evo forum just to offer some relief from the almost universal 'subaru is king' stuff everyone else writes. Also some of you, and I emphasise some, wind me up something rotten on the road. The E36 328 seems to be subaru man's favourite target to show off (for some, present company exluded etc).

Zarathustra
I posted on tis thread before you got round to "introducing" yourself on your thread on the evo board. My apologies.
BTW if you re-read my post on that bbs you will see that I did not disagree with you.

GCollier - absolutely, I've got the whole lot including both english and german versions of Zarathustra. Most excellent stuff. Anyway with that handle I can say 'and thus spoke Zarathustra' at the end of my posts !!
If you live in Hitchin we may well have passed on the roads, I'm in the Stevenage-ish area myself. My Cerbera is Raspberry, you can't miss it, I think only a very small number have been done in that colour. Dry sunny days only of course! Rest of the time I'm in the beemer waiting to be gobbled up by you lot! ;-)

Copy and paste not working?
Zarathh....ra
I can never get near to the rear of any 328i's for all the novas/escorts sitting in the "fastlane" doing 65 (with foglights on) despite all my attempts to flash them out of the way. Do you know how may sets of headlamp bulbs I have been through?
Having read your posts on the evo forum I am afraid if I could afford to buy and run a TVR I probably would do never mind a 328i.
I agree that such forums tend to hype their favourite machinery but the old Scooby Doo is such big fun
I arrive at work in the morning so glad; after thinking the SIT was the ugliest thing in the world I am converted. I am truly a born again subaru turbo 'ard. In fact I'll start a forum....
Have fun and enjoy your big raspberry

Hey Zarathustra!
I've read "Thus Spoke Zarathustra" too, you're right it is an excellent book, with some very thought-provoking ideas. I liked the style it is written in - couldn't really make much headway into his other stuff (e.g. Beyond Good and Evil), it was just too hard going.
I'll look out for your raspberry cerbera - though not this weekend in the snow we have here I assume Look out for a silver evo 6 being driven very slowly (still running in).
Regards,
Gary.
