Drove the new STI yesterday at Spring Park Motors, only a short drive to give me an idea of the car. A few weeks ago they said they would call me when the demo arrives which they duly did, something which another local dealer failed to do.

Fantatsic service from them and offered an hour test drive if I wanted it.

Also offered 12.5 - 13k on an MY98 which I persoanlly thought was very generous although this was with all the bits still left on (RB5 wheels, scooby back box, cibies etc etc etc)

Not sure on whether to proceed yet but can say that SP seem genuinely willing to offer good customer service. After a short drive I was very impressed with the STI but the problem is I still think its pig ugly Mind you, so am I and I can still offer a good ride

 

this is an excellent px price ,there is a 98 uk car on the forecourt of bell and colville for 10995 go for it mate things can only get better

have a look at dr evils wrx 01 he has done a few suttle body mods and looks mean now

Had a look at a sold Prodrive STI UK last week, but still waiting for a drive in one. Been offered around £9.5-10k for my MY97 4dr turbo with the option to take all the bits off (AP 6 pots, Prodrive rear spoiler, cibies, full Scoobysport exhaust, P1 wheels).

Am doing some serious thinking whether to go ahead

if you decide to go ahead, fancy seeing what difference on trade in you would get with std wheels, I would like very much a set of RB5 ALLOYS BUT 1250 NOTES A BIT STEEP. Mail me if you fancy a swop & cash. Mine are 5 spoke 16s.
