started stripping it
a few questions/comments
firstly i was amazed how light the bonnet was - i guess they are ali (are they all like this)
i noticed a slight oily bit in the small length of hose that connects the intercooler to the inlet manifold (i guess this is not good)
how heavy is the block with just the heads on it, can it be lifted by 2 people?
the car has a cobra alarm (its playing up - when its set it lets of a slight continuous high pitched tone) can i remove it without risking imobolising the car even after its removed (i assume its not that easy to remove it or any thief would do the same) or perhaps the battery is a little flat hence the alarm is somehow confused????
cheers

the block and heads arnt that heavy but..... you would be leaning over at some silly angle you risk seriousley hurting your back's and damagingyour wing's panels when if you drop it ! get an engine crane mate rent em for the weekend etc etc
