I tried giving up cars as a hobby interest as they were costing me loads of wedge.
It almost lasted 2 years, but I sneaked a WRX into the garage in 2007, and now I'm riding an STi. Once a petrol head, always a petrol head.
My advice:
DON'T FIGHT IT!

I recall selling my V4 Type R......each year that went by proved more and more difficult ....after 4 years I finally gave in and went and bought a scoob which I've now had for over 2.5 years and do not regret it one bit . My belief is if you can afford to have it then do so and enjoy it whilst you are able to!
So go get yourself a scoob!

I dont know if I could do it. I have thought about it though (like many I expect), I commute 40 miles a day in mine so get through a tank a week. However when I think about the mods I've done and how much fun I have driving it I know I woujld miss it too much !!
