might just need a good service, (dout its that)
i had a st24 wonce, i thought that felt really slow, my m8 changed the oxygen senser in zorst, then ran great,
could be that or something simple,
the lpg could be making it run rich or lean, i would take it to ur local garage, ask them to set it up on the gas analyser,

is it slow on gas and/or petrol also what type of gas system is it as i had the same problem on a v8 range rover turned out that because it had been run on gas for so long the injectors wernt working propely and needed a good clean 2 bottles of redx later and a service went like the clappers
p.s they usaly do run abit slower on gas than petrol and dont forget about the extra wight of the gas system

Its slow on both.... erm how do I clean the injectors then? is it a big job Its heavier with the gas tank I understand that but its just so slow lol The tank can't weigh that much.

The tank will weigh about 30-40kgs, and the gas is 0.5kg per litre, so about 25kg. Not much weight really. It shouldn't run any slower on gas than on petrol- not on a modern system.
What lpg system is it, who fitted it , and when? Does it have flashlube?
Subarus have very soft valve seats, and flashlube is supposed to help stop Valve seat regression. If it's done a few miles, the valve clearance could need adjusting. Make sure you use new gaskets, or your plug 'oles will fill with oil, causing poor running.
There's a helluva lot of cowboys in the lpg game, especially now, and Scoobs are supposed to be tricky to set up, unless the fitter is used to them. Get more dvice here: LPG Discussion Forum
It's worth getting the gas running right, cos costs will work out the equivalent of 45mpg or better!
Cheers, Nick

i've already had to reset the tappits on a 57 plate forester that has a gas set up fitted and that had only done 12k due to the heads not being designed for gas, so they do have very soft valve seats so as above check the valve clearance
