surely if you decat your car and up the fueling a bit it will flame anyway?

why spend hard earned on a chav kit that most saxos and corsa's sport these days when you could spend it on your engine?

The only reason i dont like flamer kits is because it reminds me a those false tailpipes or electronic dump valves you can buy. Its just not the same as the real thing.

why not spend the money on proper tuning mods instead of toys

How about a Turbonator or one of those cheap as chips ecu mod chips that are so popular on fleabay, or, even a years subscription to Lax Power magazine instead

*** flamer kits...as everyone's mentioned, get the real thing.

Tell your mapper you want some mild anti-lag on ecu'tek, or pops and bangs.

They should be able to put some negative timing on and tweak the fuelling ever so slightly. Should pop and bang/flame nicely on lift off.

Launch control with some anti-lag works a treat

you are about 10years late mate!!!

Don't spunk your cash and ruin a perfectly good exhaust.... Like they say, save your pennies and remap ORRRRR Get an adjustable rev limiter (rev-B or something ) and set the Revs low and stamp o nteh throttle.... Flames

As meantioned above its your car.
To be honest I had one, but took it off to get ready for modding. And one thing i will be doing is getting some over fuelling, not anti lag though can't afford it.

Don't most of you lot get flames anyway from your scoob's exhaust? When I put my foot down in most gears at around 2800rpm, especially in 3rd, I get a loud 'pop' from the pipe. I'm guessing that's a flame??!!
