a question for someone in the know - removing a dumpvalve
people
i have a turbosmart dump valve fitted to my p1, which has been mapped in to the car, want i want to know is due to my intention to do a few track days this year i am aware from the couple i went to at palmer sport last year to watch that a majority of cars that were there with dump valves were flagged off as the valve was causing the meters to go off.
can i just remove it and fit a recirc valve without it causing any problems to the map or will i have to have the car map tweaked to suit the lack of teh dumpvalve?

As people say that when you fit the standard Recirc valve back on the car is noticably different i would get it mapped. Manily because your not going to be taking it easy. Easy to say though as its not my money. Maybe contact the people who organise the track day first and see what they say?
