yeah your right, its the damage they cause.......the cars for sale as well so the last thing i need is damage,
i dont have a steering lock mate.
call me lucky but ive had many cosworths, pulsars, skylines & scoobys and have never bothered with alarms.
a friend of mine bought a top of the range clifford only to wake up one morning with the clifford on his doorstep.
if they want it they'll get it anyway
cheeky tw*ts !!
cheers

True but I bet in 5/10 attempts for your average joe public ****** a disk lock might put them off from trying
Most ******* want a easy steal then again they could of been after parts off your car - spoiler/wheels etc who knows
Keep your eye on it - its too close to home that

Have to agree with 'scoobyverysoon'!
If the RB is left out of the garage or in a public car park, I text to immobilise it, so even if they had my key, they still couldn't start it.
But they don't know that, so I always put the full steering/disk wheel lock on, as a visual deterrent.

Halon Gas fire extuinguisher (best guess at spelling that)
think they could be banned now but legal to have. work by eating oxygen but iff accidently sprayed in attempting hi jackers face would make him pass out for abit (long enought to run the thieving jobless piece off $hit over a few times any way!)
Still on a serouse note if it ever happens and there more tooled up then you just get a good look at them and let them take car.

Take the car to Tim Doyle at Trilogy in Dukinfield (do a search for his number ) and have something decent fitted!
Then BMS is Dukinfield do the nice big (small you need) discloks for 69.99, fit one!
There is never too much security on a car, and the factory ones are easily bypassed by anyone who is in the know...

bloody hell and thats ashton i thought it was a nice place to be, i live in tottenham which is north london near broad water farm estate and that never happend to my car thank god
it happend to a mate of mines it was nicked by pikies that dont live too far, my pal waited a week went there at night with a few boys got hold of the pikey outside there camp they beat him so bad he spent two weeks in hospital.
maybe you should keep a pit bull in the car lol that would teach them a thing or two.
chances are they dont live in the area unless they are really dumb if you know what they look like maybe you should pay them a visit and let them know that you dont appreciate such gesture and i assure you it wouldnt ever happen again.

Ashton isn't really very nice.....not sure if it ever has been????
I used to work on the market there......had two stereos taken from different cars....smashed windows and bent doors and all that.
GOTTA get a disk lock mate....
I have a tracker, immob, steering lock, disk lock, coded keys, disk lock and I even have a handbrake lock that doesn't fit(was left in new house) but I put it on there as an extra visual deterrent as it is bright yellow!
When I used to park my Clio(RT Jreg ) in Ashton and Chorlton....I would take off the cables from the starter motor!!!!

I even used to shove some fake radio wires under the radio flap so it looked like the radio had already been nicked....and I used to take the metal gear **** off and put it under the seat!!! Never had and trouble after that!

You need to get on the phone and report it mate.
It looks like they could keep coming back till they get what they want so I would inform the local plod, give them something to do.
Any cctv?

there is cctv cameras but im not sure if they can view the car from where they are, and the ones at our work are fake
i might report it like you say, and have a word with whoever controls the cctv in the area.....
must be a bad area if they have cameras on the corner of the streets
