when i come to buy my subaru, im thinking of geting the AA to check the car for me. Are they any good and is it worth it?

I used them when I bought mine. Got it free with an AA loan.

They were quite thorough, but the report was pretty thin

 

They did a report on my Legacy before I bought it and totally missed the fact that the clutch was knackered! Told me it was fine, so I went ahead and bought it. Driving it back home I noticed the clutch was slipping - not impressed. I did get them to pay half the cost of a new clutch though

Try RAC instead
