how much has ur cars price fallen :(
I bought my scoob in may 08 (05 uk Sti) for £13k at the time it seemed rather reasonable 20,000 on the clock full history totally immaculate, i was searching for a fair while and at the time i thought an 05 model was out of reach for my budget so when the price dropped on this 1 i thought i was lucky, how wrong i was lol 6 months later and immaculate lower mileage uk sti's r going for around 10k and less
I know this dont matter totally cus ill be keeping the car for a few years yet but i was amased by how much has been wiped off the value.
has anybody got a similar tale to tell?, if u can bring urself to tell us lol

I bought my car in august 08, and it's worth 4.5k more than i paid for it, I very nearly bought a 56 plate hawkeye STI at the same time. Thank GOD i never, i would have been suicidal by now.

The price drops are drastic and I think can only get worse. Unemployment will rise a lot further through the year, and road tax on the more recent Impreza turbos (2006-on) will rise to £400 a year.
I recently saw an ad in Autotrader for brand new UK-supplied '58 WRX hatches at £12999 !! These are rapidly becoming a car that nobody wants at any price.

i've only lost money if i sell now, i was happy with the price i paid at the time and i don't intend on selling. Its like any car you wait long enough and you'll find a cheap one. If you own your car outright and your looking to upgrade its no different to upgrading 2 years ago. Most performance cars have lost large amounts of their value, so what you've lost on yours will more than likely have come off the one you buy.
