Default wrx import info ?

hi , just a quickee
picked up my m reg wrx import today , near standard , just a couple of things
light on dash looks like a cat with heat lines ? whats it mean ?
and it is still restricted , how do i derestrict ?

what about the 2 japanese stickers ?
one on the rear window and the number 10 on the windscreen ?
what do they mean?

The rear, who knows? The front one will be a 'licence'. Do you really need to go in excess of 112mph?

1.6:1 reducer on the speedo cable. The speedometer will then read in mph and the limit is raised from 180kph to 180mph.

it has had the clocks changed to mph , but as soon as it hits 110mph it limits

That has nothing to do with it: its had a mph facia applied, but nothing else changed. The 'limiter' is linked to the analogue speedometer: if you remove it the ECU wont work properly. When you fit a 1.6:1 reduction gear then you will have a speedometer that will read to 180mph. Yours now will only be reading to about 115mph, thats because nothings been changed beyond the speedo face.

so all i need in the converter and it wont hit a limit at 110 ?

When you convert the input to miles per hour you still have a limiter, but it will be at 180mph, rather than at 180kph.
