We've been promised this for years and I've yet to see it. Most I've seen in York is a couple of inches that lasted a few hours........ Brown will have taxed it...

better than EU snow which has to pass health & safety standards with regards to the amount of slippyness
when ever it snows we generally only get an inch or two, 1/2 hour later its slush
i have'nt been able to make a snowman for years

I'm looking forward to the supermarket car park behind my house having a deep layer of snow on it tomorrow morning. Time to skip work and go drifting if that's the case!

1/2 hour ago it was hammering down here, went for a walk around the block and it's beautiful. stood in the field out back and looking up letting the snow hit my face is great.
then couldn't feel my nose. and that was 15 minutes out in it.
look out guys if you're out and about
