Default turbo

is there a direct bolt on turbo for the classic which is an upgrade or would you have to modifi exhaust ect mine is gonna need replacing soon and wanted to know if there is what options do i have

its a 93 maybe wanting one for more boost if possible

you should have a td05 then unless I'm mistaken. If so, thats more than adequate when the boost is turned up

If indeed it does have a TD05 then with supporting mods, it's good for 350bhp

1.5bar (21psi).
Map sensor will only take upto 1.2bar though
Rest of the engine is another matter though

Have a look at the turbo on the bottom of the front of it it should have a casting showing some id numbers (you will have to move some pipework to get a good view of it)

so 21 psi how do i go about upgrading maf sensor and what will the engine take pressure wise long term

As far as i know you can't upgrade the MAF sensor.

Most 'chips' avaliable for the early cars will run 1.1-1.2bar (limit of map sensor) and most people running this boost seem to have no problems.

car just seems slow now want more boost lol im running an apexi ecu and fc commander

Have a look at the boost controller in the engine bay as you may have Apexis own.
I thought on the Commander you could see waht boost you're running?

yea you can i have an electronic boost controller to and max i can turn it upto is about 13psi before it bangs and hesitates

Personally i would speak to a mapper of the Power FC and explain exactly what you have on your car and what is was mapped for.
Do you have Apexi boost control kit (not the EBC) or are you using the standard subaru one.

not sure what boost kit it is boost controller is greddy i think
