You will usually pay anything between £60-£100, £40 is very cheap! Bargain!

I pay £20 for a 16" & £25 for a 17" ...as long as they aren't too badly marked

I know two people who've had alloys crack after powder coating, won't name the company on here.... PM me if interested.
I used LSN Coatings in Castleford and he charged £100 for a set of 17" wheels. Any colour you like !

P.S. I was charged £50 for one alloy painting black

I've just had a set done and picked up last weekend - superb, very pleased with the results. They cost me just over £200 inc all the tyres taken on and off/balanced etc and all the curbing removed - they look like new.

Interesting comments above regarding poor quality finishes - maybe you get what you pay for? Either way - the company that did mine were very professional and have had some awsome cars through there. When i picked my wheels up there were a set of prodrive alloys in black ready too - anyone off here?

Actually, I paid £50 a corner, so not as high as I said. I got new tyres as well at the time which I forgot to take into account.
Still looks like I paid more than most
Good job mind you.

I had my wheels powder-coated on both my current and previous Scoobs (not a gold wheel fan). The wheels still looked like new when I sold the old one and look like new on my current one, both after two years or so. I paid around £45 a wheel at Romax in Stockton, and they even fitted a new set of tyres for me for free.

Total BS. I have about 8 sets for my a track car and never have any problems and some of them have been re-coated several times. Metal temperature is between 160 to 210 degrees C depending on the powder and baked for 12-20 minutes.
