Improve or buy New ?
hi all havnt got much to do today as like most am snowed in.
Right my car is an 04 sti uk ppp with 82000 on it.
The following mods are :
3"decat
ported/wrapped heaaders
flow matched u/p
colder grade plugs
K&N filter
Re map (B Rawle)
332/350
And i do love it very much.
The thing is i have got some cash and i am wondering weather to get the 321h turbo 650cc injectors and caik and remap again should get me somewhere around the 400 mark, but will the car stick it with that milage.
Or i have seen a very very nice black 2.5 on an 06 plate 32000 miles for just £11,000 but then its back to square 1 on the tuning side of it.
So what do we think or what would you do. My budget is somewhere around £2500-£3000... thanks all.

i do tend to agree with both the later, but will the engine stick it with that sort of milage ?.
Also i have just taxed and mot'ed it this week and put 4 new tyres on it, plus i would never see the 2000 pound ive already spent on it would i ..

How long have you owned the car and what history does it have? If you've owned it a while and looked after it, the mileahe should not be a problem. wear to the engine occurs at start up or when the car is abused ie not letting it warm up / cool down. Losses will be greater the newer the car. Bob

i am the second owner and it has had full SUBARU services and beacause my driveway is about a mile and bumpy it always get alot of cooling before switch off. As for the warm up i never give it the beans untill oil temp is at about 70-80 degrees. so i guess this helps abit.
