Hi all,

In the middle of decorating, just after xmas, taken a paycut......... and the windscreen cracks, too big to be repaired needs replacing Anyone know where i can get this done cheaply? Rough ideas of how much this is gonna cost?? Any help is most appreciated, i am based in brighouse, west yorkshire,

Go through your insurance it doesnt effect your no claims etc

I am only third party fire and theft i have checked my policy and it is only covered if fully comp, should of said its a 2001 uk300, hasnt got anything fancy like heated or owt like that just a standard windscreen

you could contact autoglass and get a quote from them. Also tell them your situation they may be able to do something to help?

£391 if i drive it to huddersfield, the driving part isn't a problem though as its going to have to be drove until i get the funds together

p.s they did try helping, it should have been 500, they knocked 98 off cos of who i was insured with and another 11 cos i could get it there instead of them coming out

£224.22 from auto windscreens seems to be the cheapest am gonna get it, at least i know where am looking now

theres a place that the trade use for windscreens, i cant think of the name of it though which aint a help but there the cheepest around
