I'd just sterilised the scalpal to remove my kidney to pay for it too. Great spec'd car. One of the rare cars i've of sold mine for, to buy.

Don't think you can compare your Bugeye with that Spec C.

I thought personally it was worth close to what they were asking. Special car with choice mods and unique colour.

Std Hawkeye Spec C's have last month sold for between £17k to £19k.
So if that one sold for most probably £19.5k, thats is a bargain considering the spec on it. £11k on mods is probably correct considering Powerstation 400bhp upgrade(inc engine strengthening & turbo upgrade etc); AST Type 4 remote; Porsche/AP BBK; Miltek system; 18" wheels etc etc.

In 2007 I tried to sell my Spec C - advertised in various places - very low mileage, AP 6 pots, and the very best solid offer I got was £18k. This was a Litchfield MY06 55 reg. In 2008 I pretty much decided to keep it, advertised it once at £16,995, I did not get a single sign of interest in a month. That was nearly a year ago when the market was much stronger than it is now.
If there are standard Spec Cs of this age (2.5-3.0 years old) actually selling for £17-19k then my hat and mouth are going to be in close contact!!
There have been two Spec Cs sold in the last month on the wrong side of £15k (as in sold, not advertised). However this is still a 50% residual in three years so pretty good.
On this basis, £19k is a strong price. IMHO is not often that modifications add anything like their retail value to a car - they may help a car move in the current flat market.
Still, it is a lovely car irrespective of what we think of the value.
