Default Who's got I/C Spray

For those of you that have, is it of any use?
Anyone done a Dyno run and have a comparison with it on/off?

I am debating installing a kit for my track car but will only carry it out if it make a difference.

Ive got it as standard on the sti RA.

I switch the ecu controlled spray on when im going for a back road drive......at a respectable 30mph

Don't know if its just a gimmick but Subaru put the i/c spray on the cars for a reason

My mate has an EVO X and that does not have it, if it was a real benifit surly mitsi would have it on the X's. I know some of the earlier EVO's had it though

Have the late Scoobs got them?

I've got it, albeit a manual one. Only used it about 3 times in 4 years. Once to see it worked, once on the deltadash run and the other to check if it effected inlet temps.

I think it's just a gimmick really.

Did it effect inlet temps?

I've noticed it being noticeably cooler to touch when at a standstill. I personally think it's good for when in slow moving traffic or what have you, you reduce standing heatsoak, but obviously, when you're on the move, it's not going to make that much difference!

IN really hot weather and a big traffic jam, I can get the charge temp to go up for an instant, with a squirt of the spray (hot water and blocking the air flow).
Having your FMIC makes the need for a spray even less sense.
