Question What's The Cost Price of a New WRX and STi?

The Dealer I bought my Impreza from 9 years ago has sent me a letter offering me any Subaru at Cost Price ............... Subaru recently dropped the list price of the WRX and STi (I wonder if they also reduced the cost price to dealers?).

Does anyone here know what the Cost Price to a Dealer is of a WRX and a STi?

I would bump this back up around 7 ish tonight, I know there are a few on here that work for Subaru.
I have no idea on mark up but I would assume about 25%, seems a viable margin.
That is just a guess though.

When I worked for a Ford dealer (3 years ago) the "mark up" was 10% on small cars up to focus and 15% on large cars. I would imagine Subaru are similar. Car dealers make suprising little on the sale of a new car, that is why they are so keen to sell you finance, GAP and the biggest earner of them all the overpriced and not very good Diamond bright or Supergard.

Also the cost price is worked out before VAT and on the road charges first reg fee ect. Therefore 15% on a £15000 car will not be £1500 it will be more like £1000.
