Hi all

Ive just put a deposit down on a Black R plate Impreza Type R and therefore will be frequenting this forum quite often so thought i should say hello! Im based in South London, and would love to know if there are any fellow owners in the area, and who they use for repairs/modifications as i cant seem to find any specialists in the area.

For the past ten years ive always owned VW's, and my current one of five years is a black Mk2 Golf with an Audi S3 BAM engine fitted (288bhp on the rollers) almost a show car, but driven daily. After driving an impreza classic sTI a while back in California, ive always wanted one,and with getting tired of 300horses of wheelspin on a front wheel drive car i thought id bite the bullet and come over the to dark side so to speak Greenlight insurance have hooked me up with a great insurance quote, so a shout to them.

I know this is the correct play to post these questions, but thought id be cheeky and try. Does anyone have any picture of black classics on 18" P1 Replicas in grey? and id also love to hear from anyone who has previously owned an R Plate Black P1 as they may be able to shed a little more light on the history of the car. Ill PM back the registration if you email me.

Got a whole host of questions, but will post them in the correct sections and pick all your brains! The Vw forums until recently have been a great place to get info and advice and a few of the suabru owners ive met say this forum is to. So thanks all in advance and dont hate me when i quote silly questions

Havent got the courage to sell the Dub just yet, so its going to be locked away for six months while i see how much grief the Type R brings me
