Is a V4 Type R Better than a V4 STI?

Define better?
You dont have abs on the type r, you do on the saloon sti, you have dccd on the type r, you dont on the saloon sti...
What are you after in a car? thats what this comes down to really, 4 doors and abs, more practicallity and safety, 2 doors and dccd, more of a drivers car.

Default DRIVERS CAR

DEF a drivers car, would you notice a massive difference on roads or would it only be noticeable on track etc..... Basically for fast road use is it worth getting a R or go STI with some mods?

for road use the STI would be better, IMO DCCD is better left for trackuse

Thanks, what STI version classic is best to get 5-7k budget?

Sounds an obvious answer this, but the best you can afford, 7k will/should get you a nice car, i,d go for a V6 tbh....

Type R= very dangerous in the wet, especially when you forget to roll the diff forward like i did the other day!

I don,t have that problem coming from owning 500bhp RWD Cossies... Type-R`s seem tame.

They sure are pete, when you intentionally mean to push it and you know the back ends goin to give there so easy to control, was just the other day after not driving it for a few weeks planted my foot coming off a roundabout in the wet and it just bit me a little bit
