Is this a rare classic??
Never heard of any fitted with Recaro's before??

they are rare as they were the full monty prodrive cars,they basically had every available prodrive extra fitted to them.they cost alot of money aswell.not sure how many were made each year but i think it was less than 100.

My 96 UK Turbo PPP came with black Recaro leather interior 
the head rests had a weird plastic slat/grill thing in the middle, not like those though?

Those aren't the usual seats for the WR Recaros. It doesn't have a WR spoiler but that could have been deleted on the options.
However, the rear has been retrimmed to match so I don't think theres anything iffy going on. Pity about the mileage.

The wr spoiler with prodrive on the side (same as the RB5 wr sport) was only placed on the my99/00 upgrade package. Prodrive actually replaced the low level spoiler with mid level one as part of the early prodrive wr sport upgrade.

AFAIK It is missing the PIAA light upgrade, front splitter and the seats should be the recaro sports (like the ones found in EVO's and they say prodrive on them)for it to be a full WR sport. It also doesn't have WR Sport written on the back in small black writing which was only written on the back of the fully upgraded WR Sports

Plus the one in the link above didn't come with a plaque and was owned by a friend a of mine with confirmation of it being a WR Sport from Prodrive
