Default POLAR PERFORMANCE CHIP

could i get one of these fitted to my00 turbo uk classic.and where would i get one from also do they make a diffrence.

no your car does not have place for chip to be fitted

generic maps are a big no no, some people on here seem to say yes get one, but bear in mind worse case they can cause major engine damage.

none of the major tuners use them, or even say you can use them so make your own mind up either way, tis your car to risk

Whilst its not an option for a MY'00 car: Id be happy enough with a Scott T produced generic map.

Id agree with Tidgy with regards to the likes of 'Superchips' of course...

Scott T is a mapper and produces the polar performance chip. Good safe chip, about the only one I would use - none of those eastern european chips for sure! Can't remember if MY00 is mappable or not with Ecutech? Isn't it only 97/98 cars that need a new ecu?

theres nothing 'safe' about a generic map.

IIRC the only chip Tidgy likes has s+v on it!! Ay Tidgy

ps Mine still going strong on a PP chip, a year on
